Admin should also have a proper knowledge about the Members signup process, in case they need to guide the prospects through the process or answer any of their questions. In this tutorial, we have described the entire process of signup as seen directly from the prospects point of view.
Assuming that you are on the home page of your company's website, select the language you want to view the website in (if available in multiple languages) from the drop-down list (top right) and let the system refresh the page for you. Then click on the Join link at the top of the menu-bar.
It is mandatory (recommended) for the Prospects to provide the username of the Sponsor, i.e. the Member who has referred him to join the company. The Prospects may visit the company's website via a referral link provided by the Sponsor or by surfing your company's name through the internet.
In our example, we would use the Sponsor as testbase. Here's a description of the links and the scenarios of what happens in both cases:
If the prospect has no referral link, he would be asked to provide the Sponsor's username upon clicking on the Join link on the company's website. In this case, it is mandatory to provide the Sponsor's username (in the text-box) and then click on the Next button to proceed to the registration process.
Note: The referral link auto-generates once the user signs up into the system. It is a dedicated web page with the ability to be personalized.
For the prospect who visits the website through a referral link, the system auto-populates with the Sponsor's username from that link, and he would then be redirected directly to the registration page. Using a referral link ensures that the prospect need not to worry about providing the username of the Sponsor on signup.
