e. CountryCode -
This section allows you to enable countries or disable countries for signup. It operates by the Telephone country code. Add, Edit, or Delete Telephone Country Codes. The Country Code page is what controls which countries are enabled for Signup. Any countries that have a sort order other than 0 are included in the country code dropdown menu on the Signup page.
The actual CountryCode is the code for calling that country. 1 for north america, 61 for aus, 81 for japan etc. International companies enable CountryCode display with System Prefs and this then allows phone numbers to take international format including CountryCode.
- CountryCode – this is the telephone country code of the country you wish to add or edit as well as where you control which countries to make signups available in.
- Language – this is where you specify the language you are entering. This will change based on what language you are logged in as. English = 0, Japanese = 2
- Descr – Description or English country name
- SortOrder – where on the country dropdown do you wish it to show. The lower the number the higher up the list. 0 is to make a country disappear from the list. The same sort order will cause them to be sorted alphabetically.
Note: There are a number of european countries off by default.
